Abigail Mccaleb is a young artist who is currently working on a collection of oil paintings that she intends to place in art galleries on the Eastern Shore. Abby was looking for some good photographs of Chincoteague ponies to use as references. Her internet search brought her to my website.  She loved my photo of a mare and her playful foal and  contacted me for permission to paint it. The name of her painting is  Bouncing Baby Foal. 

Abby is in her senior year of high school. She works with many art mediums including pencils (black and white and color), pen and ink, markers, oil painting, and acrylic painting.   Her goal is to make each piece meaningful by having it tell a unique story or create emotion.  In addition to art she enjoys horseback riding, training dogs, sports, playing the piano, and being outdoors.
