Captain’s Cove is a recreational community on Chincoteague Bay at the border of Maryland and Virginia. I have been there 15 years. The Cove has diverse habitats which is the reason why it is inhabited by a wide range of wildlife. It is also a migration point on the Atlantic flyway. Many migratory birds spend spring, summer and a part of fall there. Here are some of my photographs that I have taken over the last 15 years.
