Alley Pond Park is a jewel. It’s a small park in Queens New York. What is interesting about Alley Pond Park is that it is a place where migratory birds stop off on their long journey. When I was there it was late in the season so there weren’t as many different species of birds that I have been told go there. I did photograph the American Coots and the Gadwalls that were there. I also saw a pair of Swans nesting right on the bak of the lake.
